So you’ll come across so many people in your life. Ones you think will stay in your life, stay with you forever. You come across people you will love, very much. But sometimes love isn’t enough to tackle all the obstacles in life and you will have to deal with the heartbreak of knowing that that person you love is gone and you’re left, alone, to try your very hardest to fall out of love. To do something you never thought you’d have to do. Just keep your head held high. Don’t let it get to you, don’t fall apart. Clear your heart and let it go. Recruit Express Annual Dinner & Dance 2012
Had our dinner and dance yesterday at Conrad Hotel. Was dressed up as a cancan girl from Captain America’s movie together with Angelin. Our theme this year was Avengers and hence there were many “super-heros” from our division. As you can see, there’s Captain America, Hulk etc.. (More photos to be added in another post for the other super-heros)
This is my second D&D in Recruit Express, I even got up to the stage to get a one year long service award! Got a pink-colored pen with my name on it. HAHA. Was telling twin about the award and she said that RE is a very good company to allow so many recognition to its employees. Oh well, it’s really the case as every quarter if you do well in your sales one way or another, you will be getting prizes at the quarterly workshop too. (Count your blessings!)
Was rather lucky to won lucky draw this year too! Won a pair of gold class movie tickets! Was rather shocked when I realised I won and I just hurried up the stage to get the award. I still can’t believe I won lucky draw as I have been down on my luck for the past few months. Been having bad sales, low morale and many many cases of problems regarding candidates at work. Maybe, it’s a wake-up call to me that it’s not about my luck, maybe it’s time for me to put in more efforts at work. I can feel the motivation coming back since last week, been working harder and I can see some results. Shall find the feeling of June 2011 work morale back! :)
Had fun this year D&D as I loved the costume that I was wearing this year. All hard work and efforts in finding the costume is worth it. Spent many days after work going to places like Far East/Bugis etc to find a suitable costume for our theme. It’s not easy as cancan girls are not any popular character so doubt any costume shop will sell their costume. In the end, we got our costume and boots just one week before the D&D at Bugis street (special thanks to the two girls that went around the entire bugis street with us to ransack the shops to find suitable costumes for us, you know who you are. LOL) , and we got our accessories from Far East Plaza just a few days before the D&D. Lucky us!
Shall go back to rest before dinner time. It’s a stay-home Sunday after the fun-filled but tiring saturday yesterday.
